Dear Introversion. Sincerely, a Grateful Admirer.

Dear Introversion,

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for all that you bring to work-life.

While many might think you’re solitary or withdrawn, I think you’re powerful and unique.

You have a wonderful ability to reflect deeply and to think critically — which is incredibly important in our fast-paced, chaotic world.

You remind us to be deliberate — to consider our thoughts and actions carefully.

And you remind us to sit back and observe — to pay particular attention to what’s going on around us.

I think your ability to look inwards and reflect, helps us understand ourselves better — and from this, we are able to grow and develop into the best versions of ourselves.

You have a quiet strength and a calm presence, which is comforting and reassuring.

You create space for others to share their thoughts and ideas without fear of being interrupted or drowned out.

You remind us that there is power in stillness and silence, and that sometimes the most profound insights come from these moments.

In a world that often values extraversion and sociability, it can be easy to overlook the many things you bring.

I want you to know that your qualities are truly appreciated and valued.

Thank you for reminding us to go gently, to be thoughtful and to take time-out for rest and recharge.

Sincerely,

A Grateful Admirer
